Lighting Vulnurable Community by Solar Power: (Nov 10, 2010)


In the donation and support of International Company and National organization the vulnerable and low caste community has been lighted by solar power. The 22 household of Hile Village has got free source of light because the National grid line has not been access.

Improve Cooking Stove research study in UNSW: (Nov 2, 2010)

Suprabhat Basnet a founder member of RECED has got an opportunity to work with a group of engineer student in University of New South Wales (UNSW), to improve the existing improve cooking stove which is currently using in Nepal. Student Analysis & Research Program (SARP)

Student Analysis & Research Program (SARP) is one of the students capacity building Program designed by RECED focused to give an opportunity to national and international students, who want to do study in particular sector according to their expertise like: Environment sector, development sector, renewable energy technologies, data collections, field survey, project assessment, report writing, proposal development, project design and so on through our organization.

RECED will provide research area according to the nature of study along with proper guidelines and tools. This will help to the students to practice in the field or inside the office what they have studied in their universities. Students can also get new data and survey which will be more important source of information to get new program and development works.

Benefits for students:
1. Students get an opportunity to work in field and office through an established organization.
2. Students can do research in their own topics after their completion of study and project work.
3 .Once their research is finished it is uploaded in the RECED website, which will make them more experience and familiar within the friends.
4. Students will get the practical experience with facilities while doing analysis and research.
5. Chance for exposure to the development sector if one does a good study.
6. If the research comes out best and believe by the donor. Project work can be done according to the base of research. Students will get an opportunity?.

What need Students to join SARP?
Only the short listed students who has minimum finished Bachelor degree in social science or renewable energy technologies and that are enthusiastic, dynamic and interested in social (development?) work. Along with this, one needs to have a letter from their universities regarding character and involvement in previous universities program with references.

How can one participate in the SARP?
RECED will take nominal fee US $ 200 per foreign students who want to do internship from RECED for there own experience or academic qualification.

The fee includes: Proper guidelines for the students for internship, one staff will be provided for the whole internship period, computer and office room will be provided, field visit in remote areas with guide and the assesment will be up loaded in RECED website in details."
